Volume 42, Style

Architecture is perpetually understood and perceived in terms of style. This notion has enriched the practice of some architects and has been disavowed by others.Yet, it is not strictly attached to one artistic domain: what style means to one architect is different from that of a composer. In each of these two cases there is a defining moment where something becomes intrinsically theirs. An embodiment of trial and error toward a unique destination.

We are interested in exploring the implications of a style from an interdisciplinary perspective to get a better understanding of its potentiality in architecture.

Oz 42 asks:

How does style affect what you do?
