The intention of longevity is embedded into the criteria for enduring design, while the intended lifespan can be altered by expected or unanticipated events. A design’s perpetuity and legacy is not always assured due to the quality of its form, but instead the impact it has on the human experience; a design’s value is not static, it morphs through the duration of its existence.
